I was introduced to dance at the age of 3, where I started my first class at Heidelberg and District Ballet School. I immediately fell in love with dance. I feel privileged to have been trained both as a dancer and a teacher, by Lorraine Blackbourn OAM, trained by Madame Lucie Saranova, a student of Maestro Cecchetti himself.

Throughout my teenage years, I developed a deep love of dance, and enjoyed being involved in many of the Cecchetti programs, notably the Scholars programs between 2007-2010. I began teaching when I was 17, and from there realised my passion for passing on the joy of dance to others.

I completed my Masters in Primary Teaching and taught in the Classroom for 6 years. During this time, I completed my Cecchetti Teaching Qualifications and my Cert IV Dance Teaching and Management.

I feel so lucky that I am able to pass on my love of dance to others. I believe in the importance of high quality dance education and training, but also believe that dance classes teach us so much more. They help improve confidence, resilience, creativity, body awareness, team work and are a place where life long friendships are made.
